How to copy conditionally formated cells?

I got the row of cells to do what I want by acquiring all the cells in the row and writing a conditional format.
Now I know how to copy cells using the little plus sign, but it does not work when I try it with the whole row/copy. hte conditional format just doesn't come through.
    Am I missing a step?

    Thanks again,
    John

    Hi,

It's not immediately clear what you're doing, since copying and pasting, or dragging the little handle at the bottom right hand of a cell, should copy conditional formats.

Have you tried Edit-.. Copy.. Paste Special.. Formats?

If you're still struggling, upload the workbook with a few notes describing the cells/rows in question.

I have a spreadshet with this for a conditional format for cells a1,b1,c1.
    =A1=MIN($A$1,$B$1,$C$1)
I want to make the rest of the cells in columns A,b, &C do the same thing based on cells in the same row.
=A2=MIN($A$2,$B$2,$C$2) through out hte rest of the columns.
I have tried the little plus sign in the lower right corner of the cells I wnat to copy and the only value that changed in teh formula was the intial value, and this is what I got:
    =A2=MIN($A$1,$B$1,$C$1)
    Can you help,
    Thanks,
    John

I'm not sure if I know exactly what you want, but I think all you need to do is remove the $ from your formula in order to make it work

    John,

As i indicated earlier, try the Edit Copy Paste Special Formats. Does that solve your problem? If not attach the workbook here.

    Hi,

Check out the conditional formatting range on A1, B1, and C1 and adjust accordingly

    Does this help?
