Index Match - nested If (less than/greater than statements)

Hi,

I am having some trouble with an excel function. I have a worksheet of data where if the cell gives be A, go to a reference table, match A then perform multiple if statements.

Ref table:
Row/Coll A B C D
1 A 1 5 Good
2 A 6 10 Better
3 A 11 15 Best
4 B 1 10 Good
5 B 11 20 Better
6 B 21 30 Best

So if the inputs were A and 7, give me Better

But if they were B and 25, give be Best

Input cells are E1 & E2, to spit out the number in E3

You don't specify where the table is located - let's assume for sake of demo A1:D6 then one option would be:

Re: explanations - I would suggest getting it to work in the first instance.

You're getting an error because there are no values in Column C for Germany < 5 (value in D2) thus no value can be returned from D given no rows meet all criteria.
