    Military in and out formula

On my spreadsheet I have when I clocked in and when I clocked out, there may be multiple of these such as the line below...
DATE IN OUT IN OUT IN OUT IN OUT time
    Wed 1 8:30 13:00 15:30 17:30 6.50

I want to know the formula that I can use that will calulate the total time for me. without haveing to do it manually. I know it's possible, I am just not the best with formulas.

    Can you help.

    shaylajo,

    Welcome to the forum!
Attached is an example workbook based on the criteria you described.
In cell H2 is this formula (cell is formatted as General):
    =SUM(C2-B2,E2-D2,G2-F2)*24

    Hope that helps,

I assume that you will be checking in 2x a day and out 2x per day.
you can take the sum of the difference between the first 2 time and the second 2 times please see attached sheet.

    Hope this helps
