    Talking ASCII file

    hi all

    I extract a excel report from an ASCII file,and i have done it...now I have to move the data in the report to a new ASCII file... how can i do it???

    Any ideas???

    File > SaveAs, and select txt or csv.

    Hi Shg, thank you for the reply..... I want to do it automatically through code... I want the report to be exported to a Notepad file and saved there... Is there anyway to do it...

    Record a macro saving the file as txt.
