I regularly use an excel chart that includes a formula that finds the minimum and maximum numbers in a range of currency values. Just beneath the data, I present the minimum and maximum of the range of numbers excluding the outliers. Kind of a minimum number excluding the most minimum number ?!?!? Is there a formula that will work for this? I've been typing in the values up to this point. Thank you!!
hi there. can the SMALL & LARGE formula help you? it enables you to choose the nth smallest or largest number. for eg,
=SMALL(A1:A10,2)
this will give you the 2nd smallest number. using LARGE is the same, but giving the 2nd largest
