how to make a formula in remaining days

hello guys pls if you could help with this one. how to make a formula with the remaining days.
ex. verification date due date remaining days
1/1/2013 3/1/2013 ?

thanks but it counts how many days from the start date to end date. what i mean is remaining days left.
