budget formula. 2 different formulas for yearly budget SUMIF?

    Hi,

I have attached a screen shot of some weekly budgets systems i am trying to put together, i have created a test spreadsheet with no formulas as i cannot work out an efficient formula for what i require.

As you will note from the screen shot i require a formula for columns 6 and 7.
Column 6 will just show the difference between column 4 and 5 with column 4 always being constant and 5 changing from week to week.

Column 7 i would like to show the cumulative difference that is overall from start of week 1 to end (week 52) as shown in screen shot the formula must add each week then targets then deduct actual s and put in a plus or minus format.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    regards,

hi italianstallion, i think you are mixing columns with rows. columns are the alphabets you see on top. rows are numbers you see on the left. so you what you want is formulas for row 6 & 7. for row C6:
    =C5-C4

    for C7:
    =SUM($C6:C6)

for future purposes, uploading a sample Excel file is better. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
