I'm putting together a campaign and need to be able to go through a large list of customers who buy product and I need to get the top 3 products per customer. Sounds easy enough. I attached a file that has 3 customers who buy different products. An I've put in the desired results. I needs formula that will give me. 1. Customer 2. The top 3 sold products and 3. the # of products sold of these top 3.

hi e602043, try this array formula in H8:
=LARGE(IF($A$2:$A$49=F8,$C$2:$C$49),COUNTIF(F$8:F8,F8))
then in G8:
=INDEX($B$2:$B$49,MATCH(F8&H8,$A$2:$A$49&$C$2:$C$49,0))
...confirmed by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER to activate the array. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.
do note that B's 3rd highest is product 5, not 14
