    Hiding Zeroes & Rounding Numbers

    Hello,

Pretty simple problem I have, I have a custom number cell as follows:

The problem is that when the number is suppose to be a fraction (ie: 0.5) the number rounds to "1" - I tried changing the number of decimal places in the "number" field, but this causes the code for the blank zero to disappear.

Does not do that for me in Excel 2002.

If I enter a number like 5.25 then the displayed value is 5.2 which is correct for the format.

Re: Hiding Zeroes & Rounding Numbers

Sorry, I should have been clear that I'm not all that good with excel, attached is the problem I'm dealing with, I would like cell E4 to be -0.5 and not -1 while still maintaining the absence of zeros on columns E & F

I would also be really interested in having the data in the yellow cells be reflected on what is entered in column B and reflected in column C. What this sheet represents is the yellow cells is how many hours we are allowed staffing for our sales per hour.
IE: If $106 is entered in B4, then 2.5 will appear in C4 or if $320 is entered into B4, then C4 would be 4.0. It's a bit more complicated than my original problem, but if anyone knows how that would be awesome.

    You guys are great!
