Generate a list based on the text in adjacent cell

I'm not sure if this is possible but I would like to have excel generate a drop down list based on the text in the adjacent cell. For example

Area Options
England [London]
[Birmingham]
[Manchester]

Scotland [Loch Ness]
[Glasglow]
[Edinborough]

The text under the area box could change and therefore the list of options in the box next to it would need change with it, to give relevent choices.

I can make a list but I dont know what the user is going to put in the box to the left... which I have set up as a drop down list at the moment.

Is this possible or am I hoping for to much?

This uses dynamic ranges to achieve that

That is what I need to achieve.

I can't seem to work out what you did though.

Look in the functions tab and the name manager.... That is the dynamic named range that populates the second drop down <- You can see the name in the drop down set up.

The formulas in N3 to N16 use Offset functions combined with the country selection shown in I3.
