    Formula for couting unique dates in filter mode

    Dear All Excel Experts,

    I do not have advanced knowledge of excel. Please suggest me formula in Excel 2007 for counting Unique date in Column range when filter is on.

    I have attached excel file and tried to explain my goal on this file.

    hi Qaiser Niazi, welcome to the forum. try this array formula:
    =SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF(SUBTOTAL(2,OFFSET(A4,ROW(A4:A15)-ROW(A4),)),A4:A15),A4:A15),1))
    ...confirmed by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER to activate the array. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.

    change all my commas to semi-colons if your region settings separate formula arguments by semi-colons

    See attached file,
    The formula can be used when Filter is on or off.
    Confirmed by pressing Ctrl+shift+Enter also.
