calculating the experience in number of years, months, days.

I referred to many articles online for calculation of experience in number of years, months, and days from the joining date. But I wasn't satisfied. As I have two different examples:
1> A1 is 2013/02/23 as joining date.
B1 is 2013/03/01 is date upto which I want to calculate total exp in excel sheet 2007

I used:
For year: =DATEDIF (A1, B1,"y") the value is 0 years
For month: =DATEDIF (A1, B1,"ym") the value is 0 months
For days: =DATEDIF (A1, B1,"md") the value is 9 days.



But calculation should be 7 days including the day of joining.( considering feb month the differnce error is +2)

And if dates are changed the figure changes. Please help me out to calculate the total experience including the date of joining.

thnx, as u figured it out. I rechecked my sheet and found I was entering something wrong. thats y my answer was coming 9.
and now I tried your suggestion. its working fine.
and I am crosschecking on different dates. lets hope it doesnt get stuck.

sorry once again I came back with something..

as the whole thing is working fine on excel 2010.
but as I start working with same formula again in excel 2007. the value changes(with same error: 9 ).
and when I tried entering the formula you suggested the value comes: 1/10/1900.

the actual prob is we have different sys here some have office 2007 and few have office 2010.

so can u suggest me the formula for the same as we are mostly used to office 2007.
