    Look up helps

    Hey guys,

I need a formula that finds a transaction within a list and then displays the Sales Total and Profit into a list.

    See example attached.

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Look up helps

    Hi,

Unfortunately no, sorry if I was unclear. The total for the transaction is always in the row with no item, so in the first case the total for the order is H3. I'd like it to find the transactions amongst the days transactions and then display the transaction total.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Hmmm, I think I'm seeing it. So you're saying you are not looking to do the sum on the "Sales Summary" worksheet but rather across from the cell in RMS Sales so that the total sales for 669108 would be in H3 and it would sum what's under H3 appropriate for 669108 (?) or sum other columns too such as col I and/or J? And the next would sum for 669109 in cell H6.
AND, each would have their profits summed in cells N3 and N6 respectively?
Sorry I'm a little fuzzy, just got out of the hospital Sunday and am still not thinking clearly.
