Excel newby needs help!! :-)

Hello,

I have a simple issue but being new to the programming aspect of Excel, I need help.

I have product prices in column E, I want to increase the prices in column E by 55% and output that result to the next column over. I need to do this for three pages of figures or about 300 items. I have the prices in E column, the markup percentage in column F and want the results to show in column G. Or, maybe that is not the right way to go about doing this??

I've searched the forum and the web but, the replies I've read either don't make sense to me or I tried to plug them into my s/sheet and they did not work. Can someone help me with this using my column names? I need a formula and instructions as to how to insert it and how to multiply the code down the page for all of my products.
