Find all the differences and then find the total?

    Hi all,

been trying (and failing) to find the answer to this problem:

    Excel Question.PNG

I have a long list of times that go up in Milliseconds. There is an irregular pattern so I can't just use one set and then multiply it.

I need to find the difference between each number and then find the sum of all the differences.
So, in between 0.44 and 0.56 is 0.12
    In between 0.56 and 0.68 is 0.12

    The total would be 0.24

Is there a way to use a function to automatically work this total out and then display the result in a certain cell?

    Thank you for any assistance

    David

Attach a sample workbook. Pictures of spreadsheets are useless. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Thanks for the advice.
I hope the attached workbook helps, and thanks again for any help you can give.
