Wrong Total

Hi, can anyone help. I have put various calculations in the following table, however....
In row 16 my calculation for column I is.... =H16*A16 but the total in column I is wrong
In row 17, I manually typed in £1 in column H and the total in column I came out correctly.
in row 18, I changed column B to £1 and column D to 0% and again the total was correct, but when I changed the % back to 12%, the total was wrong again.

Can anyone explain all this to me please. I just want to put in the calculations and have the correct answer appear! Is that too much to expect?

Please explain in simple terms as I am not that used to excel. Many thanks

oh dear, all the columns have moved which makes the table difficult to read. Hope you can understand what I mean

Is there a formula in either Column A or Column H. This might be the issue. If there is a formula, excel may be more precise than you imagine. Surround the formula in the appropriate cell with the Round Function.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
