Formula to give me the 10 biggest values in a list (including duplicates)

Hi

I have a list of values in Column C, with text in Columns A and B. I want to bring through to another sheet the 10 largest values of Column C (including duplicate values). I then need to bring through the data in Columns A and B to the left of the 10 largest values which have been brought through. So effectively it should be the same list but with only the 10 largest values in the list.

Can anyone help?

For me, the quickest way would be to autofilter your table. For the field (column) you want to take the top ten, click on the drop down and select Top 10. NOw copy and paste the data as required.

Sure. Post a sample spreadsheet and I will write some VBA, or you can record a Macro with those steps, and see if that works for you. If it needs to be amended post it and we will fix it to work as needed.

I've recorded a macro - I'm hoping you can simplify it a bit..it seems like there's a lot of junk in there!

This doesn't look like you were filtering any data, but merging cells. How about posting a sample spreadsheet.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
