I thank you guys in advance for trying to help, here is my problem :
I'm creating a scheduling spreadsheet for my 100 employee department and I'm facing a small problem. I have one sheet that I use to input all the time-off requests, and another sheet that has the entire schedule on it. I can get excel to take them names off of the schedule completely based on the requested time off, but I would rather have it strikethrough the name and turn it red instead of just taking it off completely. I know about conditional formatting but it doesn't help much in my situation. What i really need is a way to put it into a formula. Thx again ....
