Formula to return count, if two critera are met.

Hi peeps, this is my first post and hopefully someone can help.

I'm trying to do a count if 2 variables occur I get the amount of occurances.

So if the "Start date" is in January 2014 and the "Division" is RMAI it returns 1. If there are 3 of these occurances it returns 3.

    Please see attached.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

    Hello, unfortunately

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

    Re: Complete Formula Failure

Hi Pepe, Sorry for that. I've changed it now. Think the title makes sense, but am a little unsure as I can't think of the right formula for it.

Np, your new title is helpful

Why not use a simple PIVOT Table, grouping by Year and month?

I hadn't thought of that. I was doing everything inline. Will give it a go. Thanks for the suggestion.
