Subtotal Question.xlsx
In the attached sheet I'd like a subtotal that displays based on the table's filter.
I've tried to make sumproduct with offset, but can't make it work.

Try these:
=SUMPRODUCT(SUBTOTAL(9,OFFSET(G2,ROW(G2:G20)-ROW(G2),0)),--(F2:F20="Direct"))
=SUMPRODUCT(SUBTOTAL(9,OFFSET(G2,ROW(G2:G20)-ROW(G2),0)),--(F2:F20="Indirect"))
