    'Year To Date' outlook using month and year

    Morning People,

    I am almost through with my management report but I can't find a good formula to compute the "year to Date" performance. I have done it manually, but I would wish to automate it. This will allow me use the template more often.

    Say the Income Statement Analysis is for March 2014 and the calendar year starts in January, the YTD should sum up all monthly revenues according to type and the same for expenses from January to March of the "same year". I am interested in Month because February usually changes number of days.

    I have attached a template of what I am working on. Your help will be highly appreciated.

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(($D$4:$P$4)<=RIGHT($Q4,8))*($D5:$P5))
