Conflicting dates with certain criteria

Hello everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this thread! Hopefully I will be able to find a solution for my problem.

In Excel 2010, suppose I have the following structure:

	A	B	C	D	E
1	Start Date	01/01/14	01/02/14	01/02/14	01/03/14
2	End Date	31/01/14	28/02/14	31/03/14	30/04/14
3	Resouce 1	x		x
4	Resouce 2		x
5	Resouce 3			x	x

I am trying to set a conditional formatting which highlights conflicting dates and resources, so for example on my structure I would have cells D1, D2, D5, E1, E2 and E5 highlighted because they use Resource 3 in the same time period.
