formula help for certain time periods

hey guys. first post here....hope to get some help

Im using 2 different "tabs" here....1st tab is my summary tab, 2nd is my raw data

currently i am using this formula in my summary tab to pull raw data from my second tab - SUMPRODUCT((Actuals!$B$3:$B$51=C7)*(Actuals!$C$3:$N$51))

where column B in my "actual" tab is a store number - ie store 101, 102, 103, etc

$C$3 - $N$51 is my monthly raw data for the stores - ie column C is January 2014 sales and so forth

issue im having is the boss man would like for me to put a "period" cell in my summary tab so that he can change the period to 1, 2, 3 etc and it will update the summary tab - ie pull data for "3" woudl be pulling the data basically for Q1 not just march, hence im using SUMPRODUCT

does anyone know how to do this? i have attached my excel file for reference (at elast i think i did). TIA

When changing the value in F1 on NOP Calc, this is actually the Quarter you want to report on, not the monthly period ?

And if so, how are your quarterly periods defined, is it APR,MAY,JUN = Q1, JUL,AUG, SEP = Q2, OCT, NOV, DEC = Q3, JAN, FEB, MAR = Q4 ?
