Hello, Please refer attached file. In this file, only gray colored cells are accessible when worksheet is protected. While, when you unprotect sheet, you can access complete worksheet.
Can anyone help me to build such excel sheet?

Hello
Highlight the range that you need to be unprotected.
Right click>>format cells>>Protection>>Uncheck the Lock Option.
Then protect the whole sheet using a password if you need. In my example password is: 123

Thanks for the reply. But, my question is regarding hoe to make only few cells accessible. If you refer the attached file, only gray colored cells are accessible using "Cursor" or "Tab" and all other remaining cells in the sheet can not be accessed.
So, how to do this?
That question will not raise, if you go through the provided links
I have gone through the links. I am very thankful for your reply. But it didn't serve my purpose.
When you lock cells and protect sheet, still locked cells can be selected using "Cursor". I dont want even that also. Only those cells which are not locked can be accessed and get selected using "Cursor". That is what I want to do.
See post#3
While you enter the password to protect, you can see lot of options with check boxes which gives rights based on that.
Press Alt+T+P+P
In that pop up dialog box check "Allow Users of this worksheet to" under lot of rights menus are given. Remove the Tick Mark from "Select Locked Cells", which will restrict the access to locked cells
Ha ha Wrong attachment...
For not even the users be able to click in a protected area you have to use a small piece of code.
