Excel 2010 Page Themes

Is there a known issue with using a theme? For some reason I can see the themes listed but none of them make any changes to my page. I know I've used them before, at least with Office 2007. Is there something special that needs to be installed to make them work?

The most noticeable features will be the change in font size and column width. These should work when you hover over each theme.

It doesn't, though. Nothing changes regardless of the theme I select. The page content flickers as if an auto preview is taking effect but none of the themes change anything.

You likely don't have any themes installed then. Google "excel themes download"

Themes don't come as part of Excel 2010? When I click on the Themes drop-down I see 40 themes that are listed as Built-in, as well as another 17 listed from Office.com. Apparently, from searching the Web, I'm not the only person with this issue. If something is Built-in it means just that: it comes with the software. I just thought that someone here might know why they are not working.
