Lightbulb How to prepare test paper in excel??

    Hello All,

I want to create test paper with four options in excel. Is that possible???

    For example,

    which is the longest river?

    ○ Nile

    ○ Amazon

    ○ Yangtze

    ○ Lena

    THe correct answer is "Nile".

There will be 10 questions like above. If person selects 6 correct answers & 4 wrong then excel should show 6 out of 10.

    Is this possible??

If yes then How can I do it in excel? Can macro help me?? Please give me steps on how do it?

If no then which software can help me?

    Thanks,

    Vipati

Re: How to prepare test paper in excel??

Go to Developer>> insert>> Form Control>> Option Button (First row last)

Right click, edit text and give the option/ans (In this case, Nile) and in format control>>Control>>Link Cell and link the cell to the second tab like I did. copy the option button to the next option and do the same..

Remember, for the next question, you have to create a new option button. Copy paste wont work

NB: Sorry that I didnt format it properly. If any difficulty, reply

Thanks again for you quick support. Being new to macro & developer tab in excel, I am unable to understand what formulas have you applied and how does it work.

Can you please give me some more detail for this point??

Sorry for wasting your time again.

    Thanks,

    Vipati

    :O
    Who talked about macro?
The only formula I applied is
    PHP Code:
    =IF(C3=D3,10,0
I think, it is simple enough to understand

    Thank you akhileshgs,

I got the point....But there is one more problem I am facing..

If I change cell link for 2nd question's options....1st question's cell link changes automatically. As you suggested, I am not coping but creating new option button for new question, even though it is not correct result.

    Thanks again,

    Vipati
