    Mail Merge link with Excel - decimal problem

    even I convert number to text, see attached excel. some cell inserted with 0.1 (highlighted in yellow) are ok in words mail merge but some returns in 0.1xxxxxx too many decimal place even I converted them as text.

    In the mail merge document press Alt-F9, then find where you're inserting the mergefield. It will look like {MERGEFIELD FIELD_NAME}. Change this to {MERGEFIELD FIELD_NAME \# "#.0"} and then press Alt-F9 again. You can use alternative formats other than "#.0" if you prefer.
    1. Include a sample workbook with an example of the result you want
    2. Use [CODE] and [FORMULA] wrappers for your VBA code or excel formulas
