Need to drill a hole into a bitmap in excel.
Have pasted a "print screen" bitmap into an excel worksheet.
How do I cut a square in the middle of the bitmapped image so that an excell cell is visible.

One way.
Use a shape, rectangle, with obscure colour fill. Place that over the bitmap. Group the image nad shape and then copy as picture/paste as bitmap picture.
You can not set the obscure colour as transparent.
You can then delete original intact image.
