Small ask for help

as you can see i've coloured the cells i'm asking for help for
the left coloured one i want to filter the names so that will have a drop down menu with one each of those names, and when i click a specific name i just want that last name to show not the rest, if you get me? [i'm thinking it relates to filter but i wanted them to show just those names i selected]

then the one on the right
if its possible to someone filter the months if it can recognise that? another drop down menu when i can select month 'April' it will just show Aprils dates
