You can do that with conditional formatting.
go to Home > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > More Rules > Use a formula to determine which cells to format
Then you put something like =IF($B$7<>"",1,0) , Like I did on the attached sheet, and It's done! (the 1 on formula means that the cell will be formattted).

But this is not what I want
If I type in cell B6, the word I typed in Cell B7 with be hilighted
Monday in B6 Once i type 2 in B7, Monday will be hilighted
