Using Excel for receipt printing

Hello,

I have been searching online for an answer to my question but haven't found anything yet. I hope someone here can help me.
So, I am trying to come up with something in Excel that can calculate money denominations with a total, a header and a footer, and have it print to a thermal receipt printer.
I have seen that Microsoft Visual Basics can do something with receipt printing but I have absolutely no skills in computer programming whatsoever.
What I am trying to do is have an Excel worksheet with formulas that calculate the quantity of coins and adds it to a total. I am able to design this and have it working. However, I don't know how to print the slip to a receipt printer. I have a Bixolon/Samsung SRP-350. I would also like the receipt to have a header, and a footer, and I would like the printer to feed some lines and then cut the receipt using the autocut function. I am using the Windows generic/text driver and I don't have any software for the printer. If anyone can help me figuring out how to setup the page size in excel so that I can print to the printer, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for the help. I was aware that there was a driver available for the printer. However, it is a printer at work and everything is administrator locked on the computer. I can't install anything including drivers. Is there ANY way to use the Generic Text driver available from microsoft. It is already setup using this driver and it works perfectly in the piece of software we use. The only thing I would like to do is print from an excel file using the right page settings. I have made a simple test print file with numbers in excel and aligned everything to the left. When I click print and select the receipt printer, it does print but the page is way to long, it prints 11" pages like if it was 8.5 x 11. And also, it does not autocut at the end of the document. The numbers and data are not aligned to the left, they are mostly to the right.

no idea as i havent got the machine to play with
but the problem is probably you havent the right driver
what if you print to an ordinary printer? does it look ok.. if so its definately the driver
