How to work out the amount of days in a week that fall in a given month

Hi,

I have a range of start dates in row 8 and end dates in row 9, each start and end date in a given column make up a week.

Further down the sheet I have a list of months, I need a formula that works out for a given week how many days fall into the list of months along the side.

I have attached a worksheet for reference.

Any help (briefly explaining how you did it if possible) would be much appreciated.
