I am using Excel 2010 and usually when I press the "End" button plus the down arrow the cursor goes down in the same column. However, today when I press the just "End" button it automatically takes my cursor to the last cell in the lower right hand corner. The cell can be empty or contain data, but the "End" button takes me there. I can't even press the down arrow as the "End" button moves my cursor right away.
Can someone help me understand what happened to make the "End" button react differently?
Thanks,
dcoates
PS. Ok I figured it out on my own. The Scroll Lock button was off. My keyboard does not have indicator lights showing when the Numlock or Scroll lock is off. Once I checked the Scroll Lock button, then the End button worked as I am used to. Thanks for the space. Hopefully someone can find this useful.
