    Question Questions for excel 2007

First, Thank you for taking the time to read my question(s).

Can excel give you a report of what changed from your last visit? Highlights. Comment.

Why can't a worksheet add a row if it's twin has a row added? In worksheet 1 we add a row, but worksheet 2 does not add the row. we have to add it manually.

Header date and time. I want to place it on the right side. But I want to be able to move it to the left a little without inserting anything to move it. (Underscore, dots, etc.)

    Thank you

There is a Track Changes option in the Review Tab, but I have never used it and I am not sure if it will meet your requirements.

Every Sheet is independent of the other sheets in a workbook. Changing one sheet has no impact on the other sheets, unless there are formulas looking across the sheets. Formatting won't change on more than the sheet(s) selected though. 'Worksheet twin' is a term that doesn't exist, as far as I am aware, in excel.

What is header date and time?
    The right side of what?

If you mean move something a little within a cell without adding blanks, use this:

The twin comment is something I use. lol. Example: WS 1 is linked (formula) with WS 2 and so on. So if something is changed in WS 1 all of the other WS's are changed also.

What is header date and time? You use this when you print. It shows you when and what time it was printed.
    The right side of what?
    Its under custom header
Insert TAB: (TEXT) Header & footer: custom header: Right section. It does not allow me to move it to the left a little.

    Re: Questions for excel 2007

The way to insert a row into multiple sheets is to group them.
while on sheet1, for example, hold down the control key and click on sheet 2
Then insert a row in 1 will insert a row in all grouped sheets. I don't know if that will help you.

I don't think there is a way to move the header. I've used blank spaces followed by a period. That's pretty innocuous.

I use the Track Changes. It does'n't track all changes but will tell you who made the change (assuming they are logged in) when, and what it was before changing.
