Hey all, made a post dealing with my same issue but will try to tackle it a little differently. In the attached database I have the Oaks sheet and the Help need sheet. The Oaks is my original data. I need to pull out the tree species and corresponding data from each plot (each plot is a row) and organize them into one row per tree (multiple trees/rows per plot).
In the need help sheet I created a formula that will organize the names and data in the form I need them.
As an example:
=Oaks!G2 =Oaks!H2 =Oaks!I2 =Oaks!J2 =Oaks!K2 =Oaks!L2 =Oaks!M2 =Oaks!N2
=Oaks!O2 =Oaks!P2 =Oaks!Q2 =Oaks!R2 =Oaks!S2 =Oaks!T2 =Oaks!U2 =Oaks!V2
=Oaks!G3 =Oaks!H3 =Oaks!I3 =Oaks!J3 =Oaks!K3 =Oaks!L3 =Oaks!M3 =Oaks!N3
=Oaks!O3 =Oaks!P3 =Oaks!Q3 =Oaks!R3 =Oaks!S3 =Oaks!T3 =Oaks!U3 =Oaks!V3
=Oaks!G4 =Oaks!H4 =Oaks!I4 =Oaks!J4 =Oaks!K4 =Oaks!L4 =Oaks!M4 =Oaks!N4
=Oaks!O4 =Oaks!P4 =Oaks!Q4 =Oaks!R4 =Oaks!S4 =Oaks!T4 =Oaks!U4 =Oaks!V4
There are a few more rows in the actual data set but this should give you a more simple example. Is there a way to autofill this for several hundred rows? Right now when I attempt to the row # jumps by more than one for each set. (i.e. it would go to =Oaks!G20). Attached is the worksheet if you are willing to try to make sense of it.
Thank you for your help and patience. Struggling to clearly explain what I am looking for.
