need to create round robin tounament fixtures
hi
is anyone can help me making fixture for league ?
51 teams 5 ground
A group 10
b group 10
c group 10
d group 10
e group 11
tournament start from 1 april to 30 sep
per team is going to play each groups team 2 times
1 team from group A and 1 from group d only can play on weekends.
how i can do that any help ?

(I used it as a base)
a) generate sets of respectively 11 or 9 combinations of your 5 ground matches. (start from 11teams group)
b) I'd use either replace command in excel (Ctrl+H) or a formula to have group name mentioned in schedule (both steps in sheet1 of attachment), formulas have yellow cell colour and are copied down/right
c) copy formulas and paste special as values and do correction of round numbers for 10 teams groups - see sheet2
d) remove (if used formulas, not Ctrl+H approach) unneeded columns, sort on round number. write starting date and drag it down. See sheet3
e) If it is desirable (every day teams from different groups play on different grounds) move second column (coulmn E in a sample) 1 down, third (F) two down etc. and then move matches from below last match in first column (I did it in Sheet4 - dark blue font)
f) if needed, (weekends for some teams etc. but you mentioned only 2 such cases) do minor manual adjustments. To make life easier, I used conditional formatting to show matches of etither group A or D team A which are now scheduled on weekdays.
g) do it again (as "team is going to play each groups team 2 times"). Probably adjustment of groups (rather not E as first one) would be needed.

Either use the file I attached to previous post, it's almost ready - see sheet4* or ... may be for instance round robin forum, I referred to, would be more appropriate place than excelforum?
*) OK. I did manual corrections for teams A in groups A and D to move their matches to weekends. See sheet5 in attachment.

Information about the cricket season for 2015.
Clubs:
10 Clubs in 5 div. that will make 50 teams. Every team will play 2 matches each in division not to other division
Introducing New division containing 8 teams who will just play in week days, you can push matches on days which are vacant. 4 teams will qualify for div 4th.
6 Grounds: Ekeberg 1, Ekeberg 2,Stubberud ,Rommen,Drammen,Bærum.
Ekeberg 1, Free Whole week. Whole season. except week nr 28,29,30,31.
Ekeberg 2, Free weekends. except week nr 28,29,30,31.
Stubberud Myra Free Whole week full season. ( MAy be Close in week 28 )
Rommen, Free Whole week full season
Drammen, Free just in week ends, Whole season
Bærum, freejust in week ends Whole season.
Remember NTNUI (Division 3 ) and Sandnes (Division 1) can just play in weekends ( Saturday 15.15pm & Sunday 09.15 Am) we should accomadte them on these days
Try to accomdate all Drammen teams * Barrum and Dreammen matches in Drammen or atleast 1 match.
