Pictures imbedded in Excel file

I have a phone list that has been used for a group of 95 men that has been used for 14 years. I would like to add photos of the members of the group. Specifically, I would like for the photos not to appear
UNTIL the user scrolls over the name of an individual..........

This may work on html web page, but not for a live spreadsheet. The pictures would have to be beside the cell values.

forgive my naiveté but can you look at the University of Oklahoma's football team roster and tell me how they do that? Perhaps that's not an excel format?

If its on a web site, its probably html. (or ASP, or the like)
