Creating alphanumeric sequences

Hi,

I create barcode labels for LTO Data tapes and recently have been instructed to create pallet sheets to state the barcode sequence on each pallet. Each pallet consists of 1,000 individual tapes and labels. My sequence does not include "I" or "O". I am trying to create a formula that will tell me what the 1,000th label is. I guess it's called a "Base 34" sequence? It begins with 0, goes to 9, then rolls to A before finishing with Z and beginning the cycle over at 0 (skipping I and O as I mentioned before). I was hoping for a formula that I could enter that would be something like =SUM(A1+1000) but that does not work. My excel knowledge is very limited unfortunately.

Any help would be much appreciated.
