Hi...Having brain freeze on this one, hope you can help
I have data across mutliple rows and columns, and I'd like to compile duplicate values and sum the totals.
Im guessing SUMIF should be used, or maybe an array formola - tho not sure

welcome to the forum, Andy. it would be better to upload a sample excel file instead & also manually key in the results for a clearer picture. To upload, Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

assuming the data of your 2nd table starts in Z2, try:
=SUMIF(A:A,Z2,B:B)
you may copy this formula to other cells. shouldn't the 2nd one for A QTY be 15?

Thx for the welcome, very prompt answer and tips benishiryo. Yes, you are right that the A QTY total should be 15 - I made this in PPT just to illustrate (Bad maths from me!)
