Excel 2013 - Changing Colors Requires 2 Clicks Instead of 1

In Excel 2010 when I want to change a color I can simply click on the paint bucket and the color changes to whatever color paint bucket is showing. I have the option of clicking to the right of the paint bucket and the full color palette is shown.

In Excel 2013 there is no 1-click paint bucket to click on. Everytime you click on the paint bucket the whole color palette is shown, you have to find your color, then click on it. Then I have to second click on my color after I find it. This lowers my productivity greatly. What an upgrade!

Try this also, if you have this issue.

If you change the touch settings in the top left section. where you have undo, redo etc. There is a finger icon with a touch symbol. Click that and change to "Mouse". That should enable you to have the auto fill button instead of it dropping down for color selection. Hope this is the answer you're looking for and hope it helps anyways if not.

Interesting comment, seeing as you were the 1 that asked the question in the 1st place?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
