Sort data - except headers

Hello, I'm having trouble determining what setting I need to use so that when I sort a column, the headers stay put.

Do I need to use a page break, or is there some way of selecting the top row and configuring it as a header? I'd rather not use the advance filter option to manually set headers each time.

Data => Sort => click on this file has headers.

After that you can determine the sort criteria.

Ahh right! I always use the A/Z and Z/A sort option. I'm not sure why the "headers" option is only in the "Sort" dialogue.
