Commercial services question

Would anyone familiar with the commercial services forum be able to look over some of the recent questions I've posted and give me an estimate of how many points they would cost? I am self employed and my job involves using Excel a lot, and I would just like to get a general idea pertaining to the difficulty of my past questions so I know what type of money I would be spending on points in the future. Assuming most are not too difficult, but would just like some clarification. Thanks in advance.

This is always a tricky question to answer, it depends on so many different variables - not least of which is the member doing the answering.

As a rule of thumb, keep in mind that if you offer $10 for a question, and it takes an hour for the member to answer, you have just paid them $10/hour...barley above minimum wage in many places, and only a fraction of what a top tech programmer would get paid.

Now, Im not saying you need to offer $100 either, I have seen that often, if a low amount is offered, a guru will respond and maybe ask for additional points, and then some bargaining/discussion can take place.

How long will it take to answer your question? Again, too many variables here Someone may be very familiar with what you want and know what to do - someone else may need to start from scratch
