The Excel General Forum is not really the right place for this question, but you should review the Commercial Services FAQs, which appears as the top thread in that subforum. There are no price levels. You offer an amount of points that fairly represent the amount of work/level of expertise required. You pay US$1 for each point, and the person who solves your problem receives US$0.75 for each point.
That is never an easy question to answer - how much should I pay?
Think of it this way, as 6 says, each point is worth $1, so if you offer 5 points ($5) for a question that may take, say, an hour to answer, you have just paid someone $5/hour (not counting the 25% that goes to the forum owners) minimum wage is about $10/hour.
In some cases, a member will offer to help, but will ask for the points to be increased, so maybe thats the route to go? Often we have only a vague idea of how long something will take to answer
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
