say I have the value 5 in A1, and I want to move it somewhere but I haven't decided so im kind of dragging it around the sheet, how can I do this without the mouse, like with the arrow keys. (dont want just copy,delete, paste)

Did you tried..
Cut first.. (ctrl + x)
then using keyboard arrow keys.. select the destination.. and press enter..
