    How To Use The Transpose Function For My Data In Table

    I have attached the sample data that i am working with , i want to be able to have a seperate line for each CODE that then states the category of the CODE. I've edited the table to show the desired outcome that i am trying to achieve automatically using a functions

    I have over 5000 CODES so i can not do it manually. Ive tried using transpose but i am struggling now and running out of ideas

    can anyone help me ?

    I would say you should go with VBA solution offered by Special-K.

    could i do a lookup or something , so i have a column of all the codes then it references to see if the code exists and if it does what the category is ?
