Conditional Formatting with multiple words

Is there a way to enter in a formula so that is cell J1 has any of three words entered it would highlight? I just don't want to have to enter three different conditional formats for the same cells. I have several worksheets to do so I'd like to avoid the tedious. Thanks in Advance!

You can use the OR formule
Something like this:
=OR(A1="yes",A1="no",A1="maybe")

I tried that formula and adjusted it for the cells I needed and the words and when i click okay, it reads the formula contains an error. I'm not sure how to correct it. I was trying to use a similar formula before posting on here, but I kept getting the error box.
