Extract data from Access query

I have an Excel tracking spreadsheet, but some of the data is gathered from an Access query table. Is there a way to set up the Excel spreadsheet to automatically gather that data as an external reference?

Helpful, but I'm going the opposite direction. The link provides a way to export from Excel to Access. I am looking for a way to use an Access query as an external reference on my Excel spreadsheet.
