Help with text formula

Hello Experts,

Can you please help me with this problem

Im trying to combine a date and time

in my A1 ( 6/22/2015) and B1 ( 12:01:53 AM ) I'm trying to combine them with a text Formula (=TEXT(A1,"m/dd/yyyy ")&TEXT(B1,"hh:mm:ss AM/PM")*
But I'm getting an excel error "The formula you typed contains an error.

Is my format correct?

Any help is highly appreciated.

I tried to restart my excel and try your second formula and still Im getting the same error.

Also if A1 is a Date and B1 is a Time, you can also combine them with =A1+B1 and custom format the formula cell as dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM.

I copied your examples into Excel and the time came in as an Excel time but the date came in as some kind of text so this is what I came up with to handle the date then added the time and formatted as mm/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss AM/PM

copies were pasted into A5 and B5. This converted the combination of the two cells into an Excel date serial number that could be formatted with any Excel acceptable date/time format.
