How to dynamically reference multiple variable tabs and multiple cells

Hello, I am trying to dynamically reference multiple tabs with INDEX MATCH MACTH functions. The formula below works ( though is convoluted), but it is limited because I have to predetermine the number of tabs it references. I would like to instead have my INDIRECT function reference a range of tabs, drawing it's MAX from the highest of however many there are.

For context, the spreadsheet lists individual sales people in column A. It then tracks their sales by month, with their total sales for the year. I am then trying to calculate the ratio of month sales to year sales for each individual person. The goal of the formul then is find there best ratio for any given month, using the MAX function.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Another aproach.

How about all data on 1 sheet (e.g. with a macro)?

After that a pivot table to analyze the data.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

Agree with oeldere, its (almost) always better to have all data entered onto 1 sheet, and then run your summaries from that
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: How to dynamically reference multiple variable tabs and multiple cells

Thanks for the quick feedback. In this instance, I am analyzing data that is being exported directly from the software in one year sheets. I am trying to design an easy to use template that others can use, and I want as few steps as possible for them -- i.e. copy and paste each year's data into a separate tab.

Is it at all possible to do this under these constraints?

You get better help on your question if you add a small excel file, without confidential information.

Please also add manualy the expected result in your file.

OK, then can you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
