Formatting with INDEX MATCH MATCH Problem

Hi All,
I have a repeating problem with INDEX MATCH MATCH which is related to formatting:
When I create a index match match formula it often works on some of the cells while it does not work on the others. There is no appearing reason (formula is 100% correct)
Only when I "align" the cell formatting (both of the target cell and supporting table) I get the INDEX MATCH MATCH to work.

This is strange ......

Any idea what could be the problem?
